Landstuhl
We are pleased to welcome you to Landstuhl
You can feel and experience the history and culture of Landstuhl by strolling through the old alleys passing historical sites. Enjoy the fantastic view of the wonderful landscape and the City after having visited the ruins of the Nanstein Castle or the Bismarck Tower.
Discover the Western Palatinate area with its different landscapes while walking or by bike on well-marked biking- and hiking trails. The Mountainbikepark Palatinate Forest, with its legendary trails and winding paths of about 50 kilometers in total, impresses with changing landscapes and breathtaking views. You should also visit the mammoth trees with a height of more than 44 meters. The pilgrims‘ scallop shows the way to this botanic highlight. St. James pilgrims even find their way to Santiago de Compostela through the idyllic hiking trails, off the beaten track of big traffic roads.
Landstuhl also has a lot to offer for the ones interested in cultural events. Check out the theater program of Stadthalle, as well as the theater performances in the Palatinate dialect, also including a program for children. And last but not least: the open-air theater performances of the “Heimatfreunde Landstuhl”, that take place at Nanstein Castle throughout the summer months.
You can take a break from everyday life at the CUBO, which offers a widely diverse range of sauna and wellness possibilities.
Last but not least we would like to mention the institution of the Artothek, where you can borrow artworks, and also the city library, where you can borrow books, CDs, DVDs, and video games.
We hope we have been able to arouse your interest with this short description and we are looking forward to welcoming you.
