At the western edge of the Palatinate Forest, close to the Saarland, lies the community of Bruchmühlbach-Miesau with its five municipalities that spread over two very different types of countryside.
There is “the bog” with the municipality of Bruchmühlbach-Miesau and its boroughs of Bruchmühlbach, Buchholz, Elschbach, Miesau and Vogelbach.
And there are “the heights” with the municipalities of Gerhardsbrunn, Lambsborn, Langwieden, and Martinshöhe.
This charming setting offers a number of leisure activities to the visitor. You have the choice of taking a relaxed bike ride through the bog or on the family-friendly Glan-Blies trail. More ambitious people can cycle from the “bog” up to the “heights”.
