Baumholder Old Town Festival

From August 21 to 23, 2026, Baumholder’s Old Town will once again transform into a lively festival zone featuring live music, entertainment, and activities for the whole family. The festivities kick off on Friday at 6 p.m. with the traditional keg tapping. Live musical entertainment will be offered on two stages, Stage 1 located on the Marktplatz, Stage 2 located in Poststrasse. Event hours on Friday and Saturday are from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. The fairground open Friday to Sunday also offers plenty to enjoy, featuring bumper cars, a children's carousel, a shooting gallery, a duck-fishing game, and dart-throwing, as well as stalls selling sweets and slushies. Guests can also look forward to a wide range of culinary delights. Sunday, August 23, is family day. In addition to the funfair, children and families can look forward to a variety of other attractions. The program on Sunday starts at 11 a.m. with a church service. Coffee and cake will also be served from 12 p.m. The musical entertainment continues at 2 p.m. on Stage 1, while DJ Mike invites everyone to video karaoke on Stage 2.
