Culinary Hiking Tour around Heimkirchen

The circular path of 5.5 km (3.4 miles) leading through the fields and green meadows of Heimkirchen offers wonderful views. Along the signposted trail, beverages and a large variety of local culinary specialties are provided at 9 resting places. Along the trail hikers can visit the Farm Museum at Holbornerhof, where ancient equipment and tools give a great insight into what the farmers´ lives looked like. Another attraction that people can see along the route is the sundial consisting of 12 obelisks. Face painting for children is offered too. Meet your friends or relatives and explore the scenic landscape while enjoying the Palatinate cuisine. The hike takes place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
