Culinary Hiking Tour around Glan-Münchweiler

The official opening of the popular culinary hiking tour is held with musical entertainment at the train station in Glan-Münchweiler at 10 a.m. Hikers can decide between different circular routes and set their individual walking pace. The paved, flat section of the Glan-Blies bike trail with numerous train stops is particularly suitable for families with strollers or people with disabilities. Culinary delights from the Palatinate region as well as beverages, coffee and cakes are offered along the well-signposted trails. Various restaurants, clubs and associations invite hikers to stop over and take a rest. A great entertainment program is offered for the young and old. Recommended starting points are any of the following train stations: Niedermohr, Glan-Münchweiler, Rehweiler, Matzenbach and Theisbergstegen. Visitors can easily get to these villages by train departing from Ramstein downtown. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy springtime.
