“Bike `n´ Hike in the Palatinate Forest”

Mountain biking and hiking are the main sports in the Palatinate Forest and are therefore the focus of this new event. The Palatinate Forest is one of Germany’s most diverse recreational areas. Around 7,000 kilometers of marked hiking trails – including numerous premium routes – as well as a network of approximately 900 kilometers of mountain bike trails and local trails create ideal conditions for active experiences of nature. The event is held around the “House of Sustainability” from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Experts teach visitors about nature, forestry, sustainability, and tourism in a playful way. Visitors can look forward to many exciting join-in activities, children´s entertainment, live music and culinary delights of the region. Sports enthusiasts can test physically demanding but also eco-friendly outdoor sports and get information on the latest trends in cycling.
