Ramstein Medieval Spectacle

The historical reenactment is held on Ramstein´s market square. The young and the old are invited to experience history first-hand, as the clocks will be turned back to the Middle Ages. On all three days, the musicians of Trio Cum Laute entertain the visitors with medieval music. The highlight of the event´s stage entertainment is the medieval live band Trollfaust performing on Saturday evening from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Furthermore, the entertainment program features dance interludes by the dancing group Shabana Atesh as well as show fights, performances of a magician and a fire show. Medieval standholders offer a wide range of traditional goods for sale. People can purchase belts, bags, jewelry, medieval costumes, wooden toys, knight figures, faux fur, swords, daggers, battle axes and much more. Kids and adults can put their skills to proof with archery and crossbow shooting. A great choice of medieval specialties and beverages is available. Market hours are 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
