Almond Blossom Festival in Gimmeldingen

Visitors can view the blossoming of the almond trees within the next view weeks. The quaint village of Gimmeldingen located near Neustadt celebrates its almond blossom festival on two consecutive weekends: from Friday, March 13 to Sunday, March 15 and from Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 22. Local vintners, associations and private individuals will be offering wine and beverages at about 20 stations. A large choice of Palatinate specialties, delicious desserts and refreshments will be provided. Additionally, visitors can look forward to handicrafts, typical Palatine products and activities for children. Again, this year the festival mile leads from Neubergstrasse via Peter-Koch-Strasse through to the Kurpfalzstrasse in the village center. The festival hours are Friday from 2 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. plus Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. 7.30 p.m.

Various wine taverns in the village of Gimmeldingen invite all spring enthusiasts to enjoy the beautiful scenery with a glass of wine and delicious food also during the week (Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.).

Using public transportation is recommended to avoid difficulties in finding parking spaces!
