Guided German-American Tour at Königsberg

In the spring of 2025 the union community of Lauterecken-Wolfstein opened the new hiking trail HüttenKulTour. The trail is named after the four cabins located along the trail. At the end of the season the community hosts the final hiking event on Sunday. A guided hiking tour in English and German will be offered. The Tour starts at 11 a.m. Participants meet at the Glider Airfield in Essweiler (coordinates: 49° 33′ 44″ N, 7° 34′ 45″ O). The tour has a length of about 7 kilometers (4.3 miles). It includes stops at two cozy cabins with traditional Palatinate food. Participation is free!
