Kaiserslautern May Fair

The Kaiserslautern fair is the biggest folk festival in Western Palatinate. The fairground offers a large variety of rides for the whole family and allures many people to Kaiserslautern´s Messeplatz. Visitors can enjoy a huge fun mile featuring a roller coaster, a giant Ferris wheel, merry-go-rounds and many other fun rides. Cozy beer gardens and plenty of culinary delights invite to linger. Numerous vendors provide candies, products of arts and crafts, spices, household articles and much more. Wednesday, May 28, is a family day with reduced prices and special offers and activities. Saturdays the opening hours are from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. All other weekdays the fair opens from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The closing fireworks display takes place at 10 p.m. on Monday evening, June 2.
