Kaiserslautern Christmas Market

A very special event in this reflective pre-Christmas season is the Kaiserslautern Christmas market. It is a wonderful forerunner of Christmas and a cherished tradition that invites the visitors to stroll and linger. The cozy atmosphere, the hospitality as well as the smell of roasted almonds, mulled wine and specialties from the grill allure many people to Kaiserslautern´s city center. The market is a good opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to enjoy the Christmas spirit. Numerous booths present arts and crafts, gift ideas, Christmas decoration items and a lot more. A varied entertainment program and music performances are provided. On the opening day the Christmas market can be visited from noon until 10 p.m. The market is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.
