Yeast Dumpling Fest (Dampfnudelfest) in Steinwenden

The "Yeast Dumpling Fest" takes place around Steinwenden´s landmark, the “Römerturm tower”, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Steamed yeast dumplings served with wine or vanilla sauce are a traditional Palatinate specialty. Patrons of the Ramstein-Miesenbach museum again prepare hundreds of these dumplings for the visitors. Cakes and pies, beverages, wine and sparkling wine from the German Wine Street, and sausage dishes are available, too. A coffee bike offers coffee specialties. Solo entertainer “Matthias” will be responsible for the live music program.
