Weilerbach Wine Village

The town of Weilerbach hosts its popular wine village event this weekend. Visitors can enjoy musical entertainment as well as excellent wines offered by several vintners from the German Wine Street. A large variety of culinary specialties such as spit roast (Idar-Oberstein-style), bratwurst, burgers (Palatinate-style), pizza, potato sticks, candy and much more is available. The official opening by the wine queen is on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Good mood is guaranteed by live music. “DJ Kai & Piere Percussion” entertain the visitors from 8 p.m. On Saturday solo singer “Mario Gilcher” performs from 8 p.m. On Sunday the band “Small Pint” plays music from 2 p.m. The opening hours of the wine village are Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. until midnight and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
