Romantic Wine Festival in Deidesheim

Deidesheim hosts one of the most popular wine festivals at the German Wine Street. Annually on the 2^nd and 3^rd weekend of August, culture, art and wine-related delights take center stage in the picturesque town. Numerous vintners and restaurants offer a great selection of wines and local dishes. Visitors have the opportunity to stop by and linger at approximately 30 booths along the wine alley, the so-called “Weingass”. Good mood is guaranteed by live musical entertainment. The festival features a little fairground including a Ferris wheel. Galleries, cafés, restaurants, and stores invite the visitors to stroll through the romantic alleys and squares of Deidesheim. Using public transportation is recommended.
