City Festival in Zweibrücken

Zweibrücken, the so-called “City of Roses”, hosts its annual city festival this weekend. Various artists and music bands entertain the people on 8 open-air stages throughout the city center. Visitors can look forward to a varied stage program with rock, pop, soul, Irish folk and funk music as well as evergreens. The city festival features arts and crafts, a funfair as well as several beer gardens. Local specialties and beverages are available. The event starts on Friday at 6 p.m. and on Saturday at 3 p.m. On Sunday the program starts with an open-air church service at 10:30 a.m. A children´s program including face painting and a balloon artist is offered at Alexanderplatz in the afternoon.
