675th Anniversary of Kottweiler-Schwanden

This weekend the village of Kottweiler-Schwanden will celebrate its 675^th anniversary with a varied and entertaining program: Live music, presentations on stage and a large offer of food and drinks including local Palatinate specialties like “Dampfnudeln” and potato pancakes will be offered around the community center and Sulzbachhalle. The children´s program includes face painting, Viking chess, a bouncy castle and goal wall shooting. Join-in activities for the young and old like a flower workshop (Sat & Sun 3 – 5 p.m.) and a workshop for crafting and playing your own instrument (Sat 2 – 6 p.m.) will be available. The festivities start Saturday at 2 p.m. with the tapping of the beer keg. Saturday evening from 9 p.m. the popular party band HABACHTALER will perform on stage. Admission to the concert is free! Sunday morning from 10 a.m. the festival weekend continues with a church service. The festival program ends Sunday evening at approx. 6 p.m. The community of Kottweiler-Schwanden is looking forward to welcoming you!
