Exhibition ˂US Housing Area Fliegerstrasse˃ at Docu Center Ramstein

Docu Center Ramstein shows its new exhibition ˂Fliegerstrasse, Blutacker und “Amiwissje”˃. Step back in time and explore the history of the US settlement on Kaiserslautern´s northern slope! From the 1950s until its demolition and reconstruction in 2011, this area was unique not only due to its close proximity to German residential areas but also for shaping the cityscape. The exibition features historical photos, artifacts, and personal memories, providing a glimpse into this special residential area in "K-Town". The bilingual exhibition (German & English) can be visited until May 5, 2024 during the opening hours of Docu Center Ramstein. These are Tuesday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
