Farmers’ Market in Kappeln

The village of Kappeln near Lauterecken hosts a farmers’ market on Sunday, September 3. More than 100 exhibitors will present rural traditions, as well as arts and crafts and culinary treats. The market starts with a church service at 10 a.m. The market booths are open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Visitors will enjoy the entertainment program with live music presented on several stages and handicraft presentations of traditional farming. Rescue organizations will demonstrate exercises. The program includes an animal exhibition, an exhibition of classic cars, tractors, motorbikes, and agricultural machinery. A special entertainment program for kids will be offered. A large variety of food and drinks including two buffets with homemade cakes will be available. Free admission to the market!
