Castle Adventure Days at Trifels Castle near Annweiler

Trifels Castle is known for its famous prisoner Richard the Lionheart. This weekend there will be plenty of things to explore at the castle, especially for young visitors. A blacksmith sets up his forge and anvil and invites children and adults to help him forge and work the metal. Fine leather bracelets and charms can be made under the expert guidance of a leather worker and then individually embossed with letters and patterns. A soap workshop will be offered as well. Food and drinks will be available. On both days the duo “Wormez” will entertain guests with medieval music between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Event hours are from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors just pay the regular admission fee to the castle to participate (adults € 4.50, children € 2.50, family ticket € 9).
