City Festival in Kusel

The Hutmacherfest is the traditional city festival in Kusel. The opening of the festival takes place at 7 p.m. on Friday. A large number of booths offering beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks as well as culinary delights will be set up throughout the old town. The festival features musical entertainment by various live bands performing on three open-air stages. Saturday the stage entertainment starts at 7 p.m. Sunday is family day: the musical entertainment starts at 11 a.m. and there will be a special entertainment program for kids. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. a flea market for kids and teens will be taking place in the pedestrian area. The shops in the center of Kusel are open for Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
