Castle Adventure Days (Burgerlebnistage)

Visitors are invited to experience history first-hand, as the clocks will be turned back to the Middle Ages. Knights´ camp, minstrels, craftsmanship, castle illumination and medieval music will bring the castle back to life. The entertainment program for young damsels and squires includes join-in activities, jester performances and a carousel. A falconer presents bird of prey shows. In commemoration of Knight Franz von Sickingen, a memorial service will be held on the anniversary of his death, on Sunday, May 7. Food and beverages are offered, too. The event starts on Friday from 6 p.m., on Saturday from 11 a.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. On all days, admission fee for adults is 5 EUR. Children smaller than 1 meter (“under sword size”) have free admission.
