Almond Blossom Festival in Gimmeldingen

From the beginning of March, various wine taverns in Gimmeldingen invite all spring enthusiasts to enjoy the almond blossom with a glass of wine and delicious food. In this way, numerous visitors can view the pink blossoms not only on one festival weekend, but over several weeks.
The "Gimmeldingen Almond Blossom Festival 2023" will be celebrated on two consecutive weekends this year - from Friday, March 24 to Sunday, March 26 and from Friday, March 31 to Sunday, April 2 . Local vintners, associations and private individuals will be offering wine and beverages at about 20 stations. More than 20 further booths will provide a large choice of Palatinate specialties delicious desserts and refreshments. Additionally, visitors can look forward to handicrafts, typical Palatine products and activities for children. Again this year the festival mile leads from Neubergstrasse via Peter-Koch-Strasse through to the Kurpfalzstrasse in the village center. New this year: Almond blossom fans who would like to enjoy the blossom apart from the festival mile, there are more wine taverns at the "Keschteplätzel". The "Keschteplätzel" can be reached via the panoramic hiking trail between the Mussbach train station and the flower store Schupp. The festival dates will be announced on short notice as it depends on the stage of flowering and general weather conditions.
