Ohmbach Lake Festival

The Ohmbach Lake is the biggest contiguous water surface in Western Palatinate and has a barrier-free circular path of 3.5 km (2.1 miles). For three days the Ohmbach Lake recreation area turns into a big open-air scene. Enjoy the diversified live music program on three stages. The musical entertainment ranges from rock and pop to golden oldies and folk music. Numerous booths offer food and beverages around the lake. One of the highlights is the illumination of the lake by a fireworks display, the so-called “Lake in Flames”, on Saturday evening.

Sunday is family day: A children´s program including a bouncy castle, face painting, balloon modeling, games and a lot more is provided from noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday and guarantees great fun and action for the young visitors. The festival takes place on Friday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. and on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. On Sunday the event starts at 11 a.m. and ends with a fireworks display at midnight. Kids and youths until 15 years have free entrance.
