Culinary Wine Hike in Wolfstein

The 6 km (4 miles) long panorama trail offers a wonderful landscape and scenic views. Hikers have the opportunity to enjoy German specialties and Palatinate wines along the circular route. Culinary dishes and beverages are offered by regional restaurants and several vintners at 9 resting areas. Visitors are encouraged to purchase a wine pass at the starting point of the hike. It is available for a fee of € 10 including a long-stemmed wine glass and a wineglass holder. The wine pass serves as your admission ticket for the hike. With the pass hikers can taste wine at the different stations. Each time they get their glass filled they pay € 2.50 (0.1l) or € 4 (0.2 l). Starting point and finish of the circular path is the town hall (resting area no. 1). The wine pass can be purchased at the info point next to the town hall. With you wine pass you can participate in a raffle. The wine hike takes place on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
