Landstuhl Christkindl´s Market

For the first time the Sickingen Highlander association hosts a Christmas market inside and around Landstuhl´s Zehntenscheune. The ancient building Zehntenscheune dating back to the medieval times is a perfect venue for such an occasion. Christmas carols and the wonderful illumination put the visitors into the right mood for the Advent season. Enjoy a large variety of food and beverages such as waffles on a stick, candies, rolled roast from the charcoal grill, tart flambée, Glühwein (mulled wine), whiskey and much more. Children can take a ride on the carousel. You and your family are invited to stroll through a little arts and crafts market that is held inside the Zehntenscheune. Visit also the museum hosting an exhibition about the Imperial Knight Franz von Sickingen on the upper floor of the building. On Friday the market is open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., on Saturday from 1 p.m. until midnight and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
