Kaiserslautern May Fair

The Kaiserslautern fair has the reputation of being the biggest folk festival in Western Palatinate. Annually, the fairground offering a large variety of rides for children and adults allures many people to Kaiserslautern´s Messeplatz. Visitors can enjoy a huge fun mile featuring a roller coaster, a giant Ferris wheel, merry-go-rounds and many other fun rides. About 140 vendors provide culinary specialties, candies, products of arts and crafts, spices, household articles and much more. Saturdays the opening hours are from 2 p.m. - 1 a.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. - 11 p.m. All other weekdays the fair opens from 2 p.m. – 11 p.m.
