Concert of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Police Orchestra at Congress Center Ramstein

On May 15 the association Kreismusikverband Westpfalz e.V. will present the Landespolizeiorchester Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate State Police Orchestra) in concert at the Congress Center Ramstein. Since its foundation in 1953 the brass orchestra that is part of the riot police has been a musical ambassador of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate for more than half a century. The repertoire of the 37 professional musicians is as diverse as the tasks of the orchestra. It ranges from classical symphonic music to contemporary pieces and from traditional marching music to entertainment music. Patron of the concert is the county commissioner of the County of Kaiserslautern, Ralf Lessmeister. The proceeds from the evening serve to promote the musical education of children and young people of the Kreismusikverband and the Kreismusikschule Kaiserslautern. The concert starts at 5 p.m.; doors open at 4 p.m. Tickets are € 12 and € 6.50 for children up to 14 years.
