Like no other Pink Floyd tribute band, THE PINK FLOYD PROJECT has inspired its audience for more than 16 years with an authenticity and power that is extraordinary. THE PINK FLOYD PROJECT pays particular attention to the breath-taking CinemaScope sound of the British rock giants. Thanks to the musical class of the band members and a crystal clear, powerful sound, THE PINK FLOYD PROJECT creates with the spherical, atmospherically dense songs from "Shine on you crazy diamond" right up to "Hey you" exactly those strong emotional effects for which the original is celebrated to this day. Since 2003, the formation from the German state of Saarland has been fascinating audiences both with its three-hour repertoire, which revives the success stories of David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Nick Mason and Roger Waters, and with an individual light show adapted to the respective setting. In addition to the complete album "Dark side of the moon", the band's repertoire also includes numerous popular songs from the other successful Pink Floyd albums. Also the harder pieces from the album "The Wall" like the student classic "Another brick in the wall - Part 1 & 2" are part of the program as a counterpoint.
