Medieval Market in Freisen

The medieval market is held on the premises of the game park in Freisen and features large knight and Viking camps. The young and the old are invited to experience history first-hand, as the clocks will be turned back to the Middle Ages. The entertainment program includes show fights as well as performances of jugglers, dancers and medieval musicians with drums and bagpipes. A spectacular fire show takes place in the evening. An animation program for children is provided as well. Visitors can look over the craftsmen´s shoulders presenting ancient handicraft. Approx. 80 traders offer a wide range of goods for sale. A great choice of medieval specialties and beverages is available, too. The market takes place on Friday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., on Saturday from 10 a.m. until midnight and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Parking spaces are available at the game park.
