Lawn Tractor Race in Sembach

Lawn tractor racing is a kind of motorsports. Each summer the “Rasentrecker Neuhemsbach” club hosts a race weekend. The popular event starts with a music party inside the festival tent at 7 p.m. on Friday. The rock band “FUSED – Die Rockfeinschmecker” entertains the visitors from 9 p.m. On Saturday technical checks start at 10 a.m. Practice and qualifying of different lawn tractor types are scheduled from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The spectacle continues with the races from 3.30 p.m. until 6.30 p.m. Good mood is guaranteed by the tractor party starting at 7 p.m. The party band “Magic” performs live from 9 p.m. On Sunday the entertainment program starts with performances of the musical society “Musikverein Sembach” from 10 a.m. The program on Sunday includes a vehicle exhibition and helicopter rides. Final races are held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Food, beverages, cocktails, and sweets are available. Admission fee for the music party on Friday and Saturday is € 8.
