Medieval Market at Lichtenberg Castle in Thallichtenberg

At the historic Lichtenberg Castle visitors will be taken back to the Middle Ages. The market features a large knight camp throughout the courtyard, demonstrations of blacksmiths and living history inside the castle tower. The entertainment program includes medieval music and dance performances, exhibition fights, archery, and a lot more. A children´s program is offered, too. Food and beverages according to ancient recipes are available. The official opening of the medieval market starts with gun salutes on Saturday at 2 p.m. The market takes place on Saturday from noon until 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
